Elementary charge

The elementary charge ee is the electric charge of the electron, without sign. In SI units it is

e=1.602×10−19 Ce=1.602\times10^{-19}\text{ C}

Not to be confused with Napier's number e=2.71…e=2.71\ldots. The electron's charge is −e-e. The proton's charge is +e+e.
