Gravitational constant

The gravitational constant GG, also known as Newton's constant, is the constant that appears in the gravitational interaction between to massive bodies:

G=6.67×1011 N m2/kg2=6.67×1039 cc4GeV2=1.541×106 R3Ms2\begin{align} G&=6.67\times10^{-11}\ \text{N m}^{2}/\text{kg}^{2} \\ &=6.67\times10^{-39}\ \hbar c \frac{c^{4}}{\text{GeV}^{2}} \\ &=1.541\times10^{−6}\ \frac{\text{R}_{\oplus }^{3}}{\text{M}_{\oplus }s^{2}} \end{align}

Here MM_{\oplus} and RR_{\oplus} are the Earth mass and radius.
