The period TTT of an oscillatory phenomenon is the time it takes to complete a full cycle. More specifically, it is the distance in time between points at the same phase. It is related to the Frequency by T=1/ν=2π/ωT=1/\nu=2\pi/\omegaT=1/ν=2π/ω.
